Had breakfast at the "best pancake" place in North Carolina. Joey's Pancake House. I have had better blueberry pancakes in northern WI @ the Family Resturant, but Joey's hashbrown casserole was good.
Took off from Maggie Valley on our way up the Smokey Mountains to Deals Gap,NC. We had about a 60 mi. ride and it was winding roads all the way along the Tennesee River. 
We were going to Deals Gap to ride the Dragon. 11 miles of road with 318 turns. We got there just in time for the rain. It poured for about 10 minutes, got the roads wet and down the mountain we went. So sad. No Dragon this trip.We followed the rain back down and caught up with it once too.
Spending the night in Black Mountain NC.
Tomorrow Greensboro, NC.
